Building a foundation of hope in the heart of Ohio since our founding.
MDI Helpline was founded on a simple yet powerful conviction: that substance use disorders and mental health challenges do not define a person, and that with the right support, lasting recovery is possible. Our founders, deeply moved by the growing need for accessible and dignified behavioral health services in southwestern Ohio, set out to create a treatment center that would meet people where they are, without judgment or stigma.
From our first day operating at 172 County Rd 120 S in South Point, Ohio, we committed to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. We recognized early on that addiction rarely exists in isolation. Many of the individuals who come through our doors also carry the weight of trauma, anxiety, depression, and other co-occurring conditions. That understanding has shaped every program we offer and every clinical decision we make.
Over the years, MDI Helpline has grown from a small outpatient service into a comprehensive behavioral health organization offering detoxification, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, and specialized dual diagnosis care. Throughout that growth, our core philosophy has remained unchanged: every person who reaches out for help deserves to be heard, respected, and empowered to build a life of purpose and fulfillment. Today, our team of licensed clinicians, certified counselors, medical professionals, and peer support specialists continues to serve the Centerville community and the broader state of Ohio with unwavering dedication.
